Overview
App Locker Pro is an Android application that lets you lock apps on your device using a fingerprint, face unlock or a PIN. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is treated. In short: everything stays on your phone.
Data we do NOT collect
- We do not require an account — there is no sign-up and no login.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- We do not collect your PIN, fingerprint or biometric templates.
- We do not collect the list of apps you choose to lock.
- We do not track your location or usage of other apps.
- We do not sell, rent or share any personal information with third parties.
Data stored on your device
Your PIN and lock settings are saved only in your device's local, private storage. Photos captured by the Break-in Alerts feature (when someone enters a wrong PIN) are stored only in your device's local storage. Neither is ever uploaded to us or to any server. If you uninstall the app, this data is removed from your device.
Permissions and how they are used
- Usage access — required by Android to detect when a locked app opens, so it can be locked instantly. The app does not read, record or transmit the contents of other apps.
- Biometric authentication — used only to verify your fingerprint or face when unlocking. Your biometric data is handled entirely by Android and is never accessed by the app.
- Camera — used only by the optional Break-in Alerts feature to photograph an intruder after repeated wrong PIN attempts. Photos stay on your device.
- Foreground service — keeps app locking active and reliable in the background.
Children's privacy
App Locker Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
